    PREVENTIVE
    MEASURES
    AGAINST THE
    SPREAD OF
    RESPIRATORY
    DISEASES
    Dear colleagues,
    as cold and wet weather is
    coming, the risk of transmission
    of respiratory diseases such as
    colds, u and COVID-19 increas-
    es. It is therefore desirable to pro-
    tect yourself and strengthen
    your immune system. ŠKODA
    AUTO recommends increased
    caution, especially in places with
    a high concentration of people,
    e.g. healthcare centres such as the
    ŠKODA AUTO Polyclinic, public
    transport vehicles or venues of
    cultural and social events. Not
    only there, please observe basic
    hygiene rules such as maintaining
    a safe distance and disinfecting
    your hands regularly. Wearing
    a face mask or respirator is an
    eective tool to reduce the risk of
    transmission and certainly not
    a sign of excessive caution. You
    can use the protective equipment
    that was distributed in the pack-
    ages at the beginning of Decem-
    ber to protect yourself and those
    around you. Please be considerate.
    To protect yourself and your loved
    ones, ŠKODA AUTO also recom-
    mends u and covid-19 vacci-
    nations to all employees.
    The ŠKODA AUTO Polyclinic
    oers vaccination against covid-19
    with a modied vaccine that is ef-
    fective not only against the DELTA
    variant, but also against the BA.1
    Omicron subvariant. Free vaccina-
    tions against inuenza take place
    in all ŠKODA AUTO company
    doctors’ oces using a quadriva-
    lent vaccine that provides a broad
    spectrum of protection. For each
    vaccination against covid-19 or
    inuenza, every regular employee
    is entitled to 1,000 ŠKODA Bene-
    ts Cafeteria points, subject to
    meeting all required conditions.
    ELECTIONS FOR
    THE ŠKODA AUTO
    SUPERVISORY BOARD
    You can vote in all three of our
    plants to support candidates in
    the ŠKODA AUTO Super-
    visory Board elections.
    The election runs from
    1/12/2022 to 8/1/2023 and
    you will decide on 3 of the 9
    members of the Supervisory
    Board. The candidates with
    the highest number of votes
    will be elected. The results will
    be announced on 10/1/2023.

    ŠKODA OCTAVIA repeats top
    5-star rating in Euro NCAP
    The ŠKODA OCTAVIA has successfully defended its 5-star
    score in the independent European New Car Assessment
    Programme – Euro NCAP – following the introduction of new,
    more stringent assessment criteria for the 2022 test year.
    The Czech car manufacturer’s bestseller achieved a total of
    81% of the maximum points. The result will now be valid
    until the end of 2028 across the European Union as well as in
    the United Kingdom and Norway. The two previous OCTAVIA
    generations had also been awarded the maximum test score of
    ve stars. Since 2008, all 14 new ŠKODA models have achieved
    the top rating.

    On Tuesday, 29/11/2022, this partnership was acknowledged
    by the Donors‘ Forum (Fórum dárců), which has already been
    active for 20 years and which aims to highlight the important
    work of non-prot organizations, companies or their foundations
    in charity and public service elds. The cooperation between
    these entities was highlighted by the Donors' Forum with a spe-
    cial award for fast and eective help to Ukraine, the ŠKODA
    AUTO Endowment Fund was also awarded second place in the
    Annual Report category.
