und Sport Praises Elroq Design
The latest electric Škoda model, the Elroq, has won an award in
the prestigious AUTONIS – BEST NEW DESIGN reader poll
organized by the renowned magazine Auto Motor und Sport.
The Elroq won in the compact SUV and o-road vehicle category,
in which the Škoda Enyaq family of vehicles also scored highly.
More than , readers took part in the vote, selecting the most
beautiful new cars and determining the future direction of car design
in the th edition of the poll. The Elroq received .% of
the votes in its category, while the Enyaq family came in third
with .% of the votes.
The independent consumer organization European New Car Assessment
Programme (Euro NCAP) tested Škoda's latest model, the fully electric
compact SUV Elroq, and awarded it the highest -star safety rating.
The Enyaq and Octavia models also defended the same rating this year,
proving that even under the more demanding conditions that will apply in
, they are still among the safest cars on the market. Škoda continues its
successful history, with every newly developed model since excelling
with the highest ve-star rating in Euro NCAP tests.

Small Parts Instantly, Bumper In A Few Days
Škoda Auto has been using D printing in its development department for almost
years. It recently opened a new D printing center with printers, many
of which run virtually non-stop. Around , parts are printed here annually
for development purposes. Modern methods accelerate and reduce the cost of
developing future cars.
“Given that all data remains directly at the car manufacturer, this approach
is also better in terms of condentiality,” says Martin Sova, coordinator
of the D printing competence center in Technical Development.

Škoda Mobil, the employee newspaper of the Mladá Boleslav-based carmaker, includes special supplements that focus on especially important topics from Škoda's perspective.
