    FORUM 2022
    EDUCATIONAL
    EVENT TOOK PLACE.
    Together we occupied
    over 400 virtual
    seats at lectures and
    workshops. The aim
    was to oer further
    learning opportunities
    in the eld of project
    management and
    to share experience
    and know-how with
    colleagues and experts
    from outside the
    company.
    Project Forum 2022
    was a continuation
    of a series of online
    meetings on project
    management initiated
    by ŠKODA Academy
    and Organization
    Team of Project
    Management
    Community.
    The day-long online
    event consisted of
    two lectures and eight
    workshops, each led by
    a combination of
    an external partner
    and a member of the
    internal community.
    The Volkswagen Group is considering building one of six
    gigafactories in Central and Eastern Europe to produce
    battery cells for battery-electric vehicles (BEV). With its
    auto industry spearheaded by ŠKODA AUTO, the Czech
    Republic is among the few sites to be shortlisted.
    The only location in the Czech Republic that would
    meet the needs of a gigafactory is the Pilsen–Líně site.
    The proposed investment project would represent
    the largest private investment in Czech history and
    would radically transform the automotive industry in
    the Czech Republic and beyond. On ŠKODA Storyboard,

    the Czech Republic. You will learn about the current situation
    in the country, what the Volkswagen Group and PowerCo,
    the Volkswagen daughter company responsible for batteries,
    are planning, and you will also nd a list of frequently asked

    We start
    the construction of
    photovoltaic panels
    Klaus Zellmer, CEO of ŠKODA AUTO,
    announced on LinkedIn the kick-o of the con-
    struction of the rooftop photovoltaic system
    project involving ŠKODA AUTO, ŠKO-ENERGO
    and ČEZ. The system will be one of the largest
    of its kind in the Czech Republic and will be fully
    operational next spring. The project represents
    another of ŠKODA AUTO's measures towards
    carbon neutrality. You can also watch a video

    ŠKODA AUTO at the e-SALON
    clean mobility exhibition
    In November, the fourth edition of the e-SALON exhibition took place
    at the PVA Expo Prague in Letňany, with great interest from both
    the professional and general public. More than 20 thousand visitors passed
    through the gates to get acquainted with the latest trends in the eld of
    eMobility. ŠKODA AUTO showcased not only its ENYAQ iV electric model
    portfolio, but also a range of accompanying services that facilitate access to
    electromobility for retail and eet customers.

    Volunteers from GQF department
    planted trees
    Looking back
    at the second
    GreenWeek
    @ŠKODA
    In November, 15 employees from the GQF department took part in
    the Planting Trees for Ospring project, whose mission is to return
    trees to the places where they originally grew. Employees planted 30 tall
    trunks of our native cherry trees along two dirt roads near the village of
    Čistá. A professional horticulturist assisted in the operation, and technical
    services sta from Čistá also helped.

    that takes into account, among
    other things, the sharing, reuse,
    repair, refurbishment and recy-
