Škoda Kylaq: A New Era for Škoda in India’s Popular SUV Segment
Škoda Auto India unveils the all-new Škoda Kylaq, marking the brand’s debut in India’s popular sub--metre vehicle
segment, which accounts for nearly % of the Indian automotive market’s sales.
The Kylaq SUV is the brand’s rst model in India to feature elements of the new Modern Solid design language. It’s
powered by a fuel-ecient . TSI engine, and its standard equipment includes over active and passive safety features.

Introducing the Revved-Up
The second generation of Škoda’s Kodiaq SUV has received
the sporty RS treatment. Compared to the rst generation,
the new Kodiaq RS is even sportier, thanks to a rened
design and technical enhancements. Under the bonnet is
the popular . TSI EVO engine delivering kW, which
is kW more than its predecessor. This power enables the
new Kodiaq RS, equipped with all-wheel drive and a DSG
automatic transmission, to accelerate from to km/h
in just . seconds, reaching a top speed of km/h.
The car’s sporty character is highlighted through additional
features: Dynamic Sound Boost ensures an authentic
acoustic experience, while Škoda Design specialists have
rened its sporty appearance. The second-generation
Kodiaq RS features gloss-black elements typical of the RS
version.

GreenWeek at Škoda Auto
The GreenWeek event runs at Škoda Auto until Friday, November. This
year’s theme is ‘Sustainability as a Driver of Innovation’. Now in its fourth
year, GreenWeek once again brings a full week of moderated discussions and
streamed online at Škoda Space. Throughout the week, guests from
the ranks of environmental and internal experts from Škoda Auto addressed
topics such as the Group's Regenerate+ strategy, articial intelligence, vehicle
drives, sustainable innovations in the areas of GreenFactory, GreenProduct and
GreenRetail, and last but not least, projects aimed at promoting biodiversity.
Thursday is set to be the busiest day on the agenda. Under the guidance of
experienced instructors, you’ll have the chance to assemble a climate mosaic
at the Laurin & Klement Kampus and learn about minimalist living. You can also
power a blender by pedalling to make a fresh
fruit smoothie. And with your help, we’ll
hold our third book and clothing swap.

Video Series ‘Minutes From
Production’: Software Brings
the Car to Life
The ninth instalment of the ‘Minutes from
Production’ video series provides a closer look
at another stage in the production process of
the Škoda Kodiaq in Kvasiny. Before the vehicle
heads for a nal inspection on the production line,
it needs to be brought to life – allowing it to drive
to the inspection under its own power.

Škoda Mobil, the employee newspaper of the Mladá Boleslav-based carmaker, includes special supplements that focus on especially important topics from Škoda's perspective.
