EDU.lab passion for technology
Mobile lab for tech enthusiasts by the end of will visit
all Czech regions and many places in Slovakia. Inspiring
primary and secondary schoolchildren and stoking their
passion for technology is the goal of EDU.lab, a mobile
laboratory that Škoda brings to young people. The laboratory
targets especially primary school pupils and secondary school
students, apprenticeships, but also grammar schools.
But everyone has the chance to see it.

Wohnout unplugged
Wohnout dressed up in concert tour back
into their acoustic suits and head out on
an unplugged tour. The band has changed
the arrangements, added a fth member
for a while, learned to play a number
of new instruments, and attracts to
the theater scene. Come to the Škoda
Museum, it will be worth it.

Metal Jubilee
The foundry and forge at Škoda Auto
celebrates 60th anniversary!
The rst sound of the newly commissioned
melting furnace sounded on 3 October
1963. It all started with a bang: the
production of semi-nished products for
what was then a novelty, the Škoda 1000
MB. In the aluminium foundry was the rst
in Europe to cast an engine block using
die-casting technology. Forge began with
die forging and in cast iron foundry started
to produce parts for engine and axle.
The future is electric, but the metallurgical
plants will be in the production of semi-
nished parts for cars with for internal
combustion engines will continue.
„We are also preparing other ramp-ups,
such as cylinder block and crankshaft for
the engine 1.5 TSI evo2,“ says David
Kvapil, head of the PKG Foundry and Forge
department.
Male and female principle
in cooperation
Škoda Academy invites you to the course Male
and Female principle in cooperation at home and
at work. The aim of the course is to raise awareness
of the need for cultural change organisation, entering
into the topic of gender diversity and to understand
why it is important to be able to work with feminine
and masculine principles for success and viability of
the company.
Take advantage of the last opportunity to participate
in this collaborative, face-to-face training
course, prepared by Škoda Academy for all
employees.
