    Škoda Auto unveiled the second generation of the popular
    Škoda Superb on Thursday,  November in Dolní Břežany.

    combustion engine portfolio.

    of the Czech Automotive Industry

    Volkswagen Group CEO Oliver
    Blume, Czech Prime Minister
    Petr Fiala, and Minister of
    Industry Jozef Síkela regarding
    the transformation of the
    automotive industry and
    the potential localisation of
    a gigafactory in the Czech
    Republic. First and foremost,
    I would like to express my
    appreciation to government
    representatives, municipal
    partners, the KOVO Trade Union,
    all other stakeholders, and the
    entire team who contributed
    to the preparation phase of this
    potential project. However,

    Week of Men’s Health
     What‘s coming up? Find out in the article on Škoda Space.
    On the occasion of the worldwide charity movement
    „Movember“, which draws attention to the dangers of
    testicular cancer, prostate cancer and the psychological
    problems associated with it, and as part of the „Health
    Matters“ campaign, Škoda Auto has prepared a „Week of
    Men‘s Health“ together with the Škoda Endowment Fund,
    the Škoda Employee Insurance Company and the Klaudián
    Hospital.
    The event aims to support men in taking
    care of their physical and mental health,
    motivating them to undergo regular medical
    check-ups and to communicate openly
    about their condition.

    This year‘s volunteer season will end on
     November  on the Arbor Day with
    Škoda Auto. The goal of the volunteer event is
    to restore the fruit avenue from Bosna to Lhotice
    in the Mladá Boleslav region. A total of  fruit
    trees will be planted. This event will take place in
    cooperation with ČSOP Klenice, with the support
    of the KOVO MB Trade Union and the Partnership
    Foundation.

    Digital certicate:
    Providing customers with
    more transparency when
    selling a used Škoda
    Škoda owners can now create a digital
    certicate with veried data with a few clicks,
    with the warranty period. This le is an ocial
    manufacturer‘s document that collects data from
    various sources, including the vehicle‘s electronic
    service book. Customers thus have permanently
    reliable information about their vehicle without
    having to visit the dealer or pay additional fees.
    `The service is available free of charge for all
    European Škoda vehicles where the Škoda Connect
    service is provided. This website provides a country-
    by-country overview for each feature.

    New rooftop photovoltaic systems
    contribute to carbon-neutral production
    Škoda Auto is making progress towards carbon neutral
    production at its Czech plants by the end of the decade.
    In cooperation with ČEZ ESCO and ŠKO-ENERGO,
    the carmaker has now commissioned three rooftop
    photovoltaic systems at its main plant in Mladá Boleslav
    and at the Škoda Parts Center logistics centre.
    The total area of the new solar power plant is over
    , m
    , equivalent to more than  tennis courts.
    Over , photovoltaic modules are expected to produce
    more than  GWh of emission-free electricity per year in
    the future. With this amount of energy, approximately
    , Enyaq  cars can be fully charged.
