    At the end of August and the beginning of September, you were asked to submit your
    nominations for non-prot organizations that Škoda Auto will support within
    the Employee Collections for the next  years. In total, more than  organizations were
    nominated, and those that were nominated most often and that meet the conditions of
    sustainability and transparency were shortlisted.
    Vote at this link until  October and choose with us the  nalists that
    we will support in the next few years. Medallions of all nominated non-
    prots can be found here.
    How was the rst
    year of Škoda Social
    Week?
    Last week was the rst year of the Škoda
    Social Week,which brought instructive
    examples of how to connect employers
    with concrete social service providers
    in case of an unexpected event and its
    impacts on the person‘s life.
    Throughout the week, you could see
    discussion programmes on specialised
    topics, or you could donate to selected
    fundraisers that take place on the
    znesnáze platform and which are
    also supported by the Škoda Auto
    Foundation.
    Škoda Social Week touched on topics
    such as physical and mental health, new
    forms of work and support for carers, or
    donation and volunteering.
    Supporting the mobility of
    social and health services
    Škoda Auto continues its long-standing successful
    cooperation with organisations involved in health
    and social care in the Rychnov, Vrchlabí and Mladá
    Boleslav regions. The vehicles, which are used to
    improve the accessibility of care, are provided
    to the selected organisations as a year-long free loan.
    The institutions in the area around the Kvasiny plant
    received eight Octavia cars, which oer enough
    space for less mobile clients. In the Vrchlabí region,
    representatives of social services received three
    Octavia Combi cars with a large luggage space.
    Five Fabia cars were given to health and social
    service providers in Mladá Boleslav.

    Škoda Auto Set to
    Re-Enter Kazakhstan
    Market
    Škoda Auto is poised to re-enter
    the Kazakhstan market. The Czech car
    manufacturer has engaged a new sales
    and production partner, Allur Company,
    with both companies recently signing
    a partnership agreement. Škoda Auto
    operated in Kazakhstan between  and
    , delivering over , vehicles to
    customers in the country. Four models will
    be assembled locally in Kazakhstan starting
    in early , namely the Kodiaq, Karoq and
    Kamiq SUVs, as well as the Octavia.

    Two Favorits’ road trip to
    their place of birth
    A father and son from a small town near Warsaw decided to
    take their families to the hometown of their Škoda Favorit
    cars. They went not only to Mladá Boleslav, where they picked
    up the cars‘ „birth certicates“ (Certicates of Origin), but also
    drove through Poland, the Czech Republic and Germany. During
    their trip they drove about  km.
    Andrzej Kurnik described the trip in Favorit as “We haven’t had
    any problems so far; our cars run great. And they keep pace
    with today’s trac without any problems. (…) On the motorway
    we opt for a slightly slower pace, about  km/h, although the
    Favorit can also manage  km/h, which is the top speed in
    Poland.”

    “Klaus Drives“
    at the world
    premiere of the
    Škoda Kodiaq
    On  August, in the subway
    tunnel in Berlin, the world
    premiere of the new generation
    of the popular Škoda Kodiaq
    SUV took place. Around
     international media
    representatives attended
    the event. Klaus Zellmer,
    Chairman of the Board, and
    Board members Martin Jahn
    and Johannes Neft presented
    the new generation of the car,
    which has launched the brand‘s
    successful SUV oensive.
    From that day, Klaus Zellmer
    released a new episode of the
    „Klaus Drives“ series, where he
    presents this new and improved
    generation of the Škoda Kodiaq.

    On  October, Škoda Auto held
    a ceremony during which the
    company handed over a total
    of  Škoda Enyaq and Enyaq
    Coupé RS fully electric cars
    to representatives of the non-
    prot sector.
    The main objective is to support
    the sustainable mobility of
    individual organisations, to
    increase the level of services
    provided and at the same time
    to bring the personal experience
    of fully electric cars closer to
    the users.
