Modernized Kodiaq in New
Sketches
One week ahead of its world premiere, Škoda Auto has
released exterior sketches of the new-generation Škoda
Kodiaq, revealing a powerful and emotive design. Among
the highlights are a sculptural front end, distinctive squared-
o wheel arches, wheel sizes ranging from  to  inches,
a solid rear bumper, and second-generation TOP LED Matrix
headlights featuring crystalline design elements.

Škoda Auto Ocially Enters
Vietnamese Market
On  September, Škoda Auto has taken an
important step in its internationalisation strategy
with its entry into the Vietnamese market.
A celebratory event took place with representatives
of the Vietnamese and Czech governments alongside
Škoda’s local distribution and production partner,
TC Group. Škoda Auto projects a rapid expansion of
the dealer network to as many as  partners and an
annual sales potential of over , units beyond
. The rst models, starting with the Karoq
and Kodiaq, will be imported from Europe. Local
CKD production, planned to start next year, aims to
leverage synergies due to the country’s proximity
to India. Škoda views Vietnam as a gateway to the
promising ASEAN region.

Zero Tolerance
to Drugs at Škoda
Anyone using drugs is not just putting
themselves at risk but also their
colleagues and our customers. Given the
increasing number of identied users, we
are launching a new anti-drug campaign
and rmly stating our zero tolerance
policy.
You will be informed about where to
nd eective and professional help if
needed. At the same time, we would like
to remind you not only of the potential
health implications, but also of the work-
related and legal consequences of drug
use. In the rst article of our campaign,
we focused on risky behaviour at the
workplace in relation to substance use.

GreenFuture
Celebrates  Years
Environmental protection is
embedded in Škoda Auto’s corporate
strategy. Launched ten years
ago, the GreenFuture program
encompasses numerous measures,
and its goals are continuously being
rened and expanded. The Czech
car maker achieved several major
sustainability milestones in recent
years. Environmental activities also
form the foundation of the Next
Level – Škoda Strategy , which
lays out ambitious plans across
several areas. The recent third annual
GreenWeek event provided an
opportunity for employees to reect
on key milestones while raising
awareness within the company about
the importance of sustainability.

Škoda Auto supports the revitalization of the left bank of the
Jizera River, immediately adjacent to the traditional HQ of
Škoda‘s Technical Development. The name Česana originates
from the former worsted yarn factory.
The rst part of the restoration has already been carried out
with the construction of a brand new pedestrian and cycling
bridge in the northern part – this important link between the
two banks was opened this May. Next is the construction
of the Waterfront Park, which will include new cycle paths
connecting to the newly created northern part. The project
documentation is already underway and the construction
work is planned to start in . Škoda Auto and its
Endowment Fund have long supported projects to improve
the quality of life of the inhabitants of Mladá Boleslav and its
surroundings.

Next Week is Social Week
Škoda Auto, KOVO Trade Union and the Škoda Auto
Endowment Fund want to raise awareness of social sustainability
as one of the pillars of the carmaker‘s stratégy. While promoting
selected types of social services. This is why we are joining Social
Services Week, organized by the Czech Association of Social
Service Providers. Partner organizations will set up public events,
open days and volunteer challenges in Škoda Auto regions.
This will also include online interviews with representatives from
Škoda, the non-prot sector and other experts.
