Superb Sportline: Elegant Sporty Car
The fourth-generation Škoda Superb arrives in the Sportline version, continuing
the tradition of Škoda’s sport-oriented models: It retains all the advantages of
the base model, particularly its spaciousness and Simply Clever features, while
adding unique design elements and a wealth of additional equipment.
Its dynamic appearance is emphasised by polished ” anthracite wheels, glossy
black body elements, and a new Sportline badge on the front fenders. Both
Sportline interiors feature heated front sport seats with integrated headrests
and manually adjustable seat depth. Standard
equipment includes progressive steering,
a sport suspension lowered by  mm,
Matrix-LED front headlights, and Top LED
rear lights with animated indicators.

Škoda Classic Tour 2024: Traditional Rally
With Škoda Auto Employees
On  August, the 
th
iteration of the Škoda Classic Tour saw  crews,
including ve Board Members, with historic and vintage cars line up at
the start near the Škoda Museum. The  km route once again included
a drive through the Škoda Auto production plant in Mladá Boleslav. The
packed programme also included three precision tests and a photo session
with camouaged Škoda Elroq prototypes.
A gathering of vintage car and technology enthusiasts of all ages, the Škoda
Classic Tour combines a relaxed family atmosphere with all the elements
of regularity rallies. The winner of the Škoda Classic Tour is the crew with
the fewest penalty points. This year, that honour went to Eduard Suchý’s
crew driving an Alfa Romeo Spider from , who accumulated only
 penalty points in total. The correct answer in the Škoda Parts Centre
guessing competition was nailed by Tomáš Teichman’s crew, driving
their  Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. The prestigious traditional trophy in
the Concours d’élégance, awarded by a jury that included Škoda Museum
restoration experts, was claimed this year by the crew of Martin Kosík with
their Škoda  MBX from .

Škoda Auto Produces the First Units
of the Updated Octavia in Kvasiny
The production of additional units of the brand’s bestseller in
Kvasiny was made possible thanks to the new-generation Superb
now being manufactured at the Volkswagen plant in Bratislava.
At the same time, production of the Octavia continues at Škoda’s
main facility in Mladá Boleslav. Around . million units have been
produced since the rst modern-generation Octavia was introduced
in .
A Legacy of Innovation
This year, Škoda Auto is commemorating anniversaries at
its Kvasiny and Vrchlabí plants: The Kvasiny site has been
producing cars for  years and was integrated into Škoda’s
production network in . The history of the Vrchlabí
plant spans  years, yet the rst Škoda models did not roll
o its production line until . In , both facilities were
nationalised and incorporated as part of Škoda, then known
as AZNP (Automobilové závody, národní podnik). In recent
years, these plants have undergone a radical transformation,
extensively incorporating Industry . technologies.
At Kvasiny, Škoda currently produces the Karoq, Kodiaq,
and Octavia series, while the Vrchlabí plant focuses on
manufacturing DQ automatic direct-shift transmissions.
Both sites play a crucial role in advancing the company’s
sustainability strategy, having achieved signicant milestones
in recent years.
