    FOR ŠKODA AUTO EMPLOYEES
    In full size, you will see the rst concrete
    demonstration of the new MODERN SOLID design
    language, the impressive result of the work of chief
    designer Oliver Stefani and his team. Even on
    a clay model you can see many important details.
    Specic solutions such as the new bow with
    the so-called Tech-Deck Face mask are clearly visible
    on the model mock-up. Furthermore, the extended
    space for up to seven passengers entering through
    the portal doors with counter-opening, the slightly
    sloping roof, the triangular D-pillars of the body or
    the distinctive square wheel arches.
    In cooperation with ŠKODA’s design department,
    the ŠKODA Museum is oering an exclusive
    opportunity for all visitors to see the future
    of ŠKODA AUTO, which is the VISION 7S.
    This opportunity is open to the general public until
    15/9/2022.
    With the cooperation of the ŠKODA AUTO
    Endowment Fund, the KOVO MB Trade
    Union and other partners, Petr Březina,
    author of the book Fairy Tales for Ukrainian
    Children, organised a project that involved
    Czech pupils donating a multimedia book to
    their Ukrainian classmates. This can, among
    other things, help to establish new friendships
    between peers. In order to reach as many
    children as possible, the stories were also
    presented in audio and video form on
    the website: pohadkybrezina.cz. As the fairy
    tales are available in both Ukrainian and Czech,
    the project will help children to learn the basics
    of the Czech language and thus integrate
    into school classes with Czech children. “I am
    personally very happy about this project and
    I am glad that we got involved and were able
    to support it nancially,” says Martin Jahn,
    ŠKODA AUTO Board Member for Sales and
    Marketing. On the last day of the holiday
    season, 31/8/2022, the book Fairy Tales
    for Ukrainian Children was christened,
    which was attended also by Ladislav Kučera,
    Director of the ŠKODA AUTO Endowment

    The ŠKODA Classic Tour is already an inseparable
    part of Škodian family holidays. This year’s drive
    saw 230 cars registered for Saturday 3/9/2022,
    of which almost 200 reached the nish line. The large
    and varied starting eld was made up of employees
    of the ŠKODA AUTO plants in Mladá Boleslav, Vrchlabí
    and Kvasiny with their family members. Given
    the patriotism of the Škodians, it is certainly not
    surprising that more than half of the eld consisted
    of family, sports and utility versions of ŠKODA cars.
    The overall winner of the 9
    th
    ŠKODA Classic Tour
    was Tadeáš Narovec with his 1971 Renault 12 TL.
    However, due to the family-oriented nature of
    the event, all the participants, i.e. more than 700 crew
    members, came out in force. They enjoyed the relaxed
    atmosphere of meeting their colleagues and admiring
    each other’s beautiful, eternally young machines.
    The shared enthusiasm for automotive history also
    attracted many spectators, whose friendly greetings
    enhanced the pleasant experience of the rst Saturday
    in September.
    During the holidays, you were interested
    in what the ŠKODA AUTO will do for
    employees to help them overcome the high
    ination in the Czech Republic, or how the
    unfavourable situation with gas supplies
    to Europe would aect the company.
    Questions were also directed at the possible
    organisation of an open day at ŠKODA AUTO
    and whether Klaus Zellmer would take part
    in the traditional ŠKODA Classic Tour rally.

    First Yoga Fest in
    Mladá Boleslav
    On 23/8/2022, the program of
    Jaroslav Povšík, Chairman of the
    KOVO Trade Union, and Klaus
    Zellmer, Chairman of the Board of
    Management of ŠKODA AUTO, and
    his wife Susanne, accompanied by
    Maren Gräf, Board Member for People
    & Culture, and Ariane Kilian, Head
    of Communications, included a trip
    to the Jetřichovice and Nedamov
    children’s camps. The guests toured
    both camps accompanied by the main
    leaders, Luděk Švejdar in Jetřichovice
    and Michal Krákora in Nedamov.
    During the tours, the guests learned
    interesting moments from the history
    and present of both camps, as well as
    about their organization. The children
    at that time had their own program,
    and the guests were able to get
    a glimpse into the daily routine and
    could also participate in some games.
    Which they were very happy to do,
    and so, for example, they sang with the
    children or tried some of the disciplines
    of the ongoing camp Olympics. Find

    On the weekend of 10 and 11/9/2022, the Na Karmeli
    Education Centre will host the rst ever Yoga festival
    in Mladá Boleslav. You will be able to try out various
    classes, attend workshops and lectures about health,
    exibility, Chinese medicine and much more. There will
    be a program for the whole family and a live concert on
    Saturday. Yoga Fest is organized by the ŠKODA AUTO
    Endowment Fund. Healthy catering is a certainty!
