Škoda Týdeník 31/2024
Recently, there have been several instances where employees captured photographs and videos of
extraordinary events at Škoda Auto without authorisation. Such behaviour is prohibited.
We want to draw your attention to a serious issue recently observed on Škoda Auto premises. In several cases,
employees have made unauthorised recordings of extraordinary events. This conduct violates internal regulations
and can have major consequences for the individuals and the company as a whole.
Recording images on Škoda Auto premises is subject to strict rules. It is only permitted after obtaining
the necessary authorisation (via electronic form ) in connection with performing work-related tasks and is
governed by the methodological guideline MP... Any unauthorised recording is considered a breach
of work regulations and may lead to disciplinary action. Unauthorised recordings pose a risk to the protection
of condential information. Additionally, while capturing these recordings, there is a potential risk to the life and
health of employees and the responding emergency units.
We want to emphasise that the safety of our employees, protecting our property, and maintaining the reputation
of our brand are our highest priorities. Therefore, we urge all employees to remain calm in the event of
extraordinary situations, such as a re, to follow the procedures established for handling extraordinary events,
and to refrain from actions that could hinder the eorts of emergency teams or directly endanger them.
If you witness an extraordinary event, report it immediately to your direct supervisor or the SO department
dispatch (all important numbers can be found on Škoda Space) and follow the instructions of the responsible
persons, particularly the incident commander. If you have any questions regarding the procedures for recording
images or the protocols to follow in the event of an extraordinary situation, do not hesitate to contact your direct
supervisor or the SO department.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in creating a safe and professional work environment.
