For the third consecutive year, Škoda Auto was
the ocial partner to the Prague Pride Festival.
Through this partnership, the Czech carmaker
emphasises its commitment to respect, acceptance,
equity, diversity and mutual understanding. As in
previous years, Škoda employees also took part in
the Pride Parade – the highlight of the Festival –
including members of Škoda’s employee resource
group (ERG), Škoda Proud.
This year marked a special milestone with the Škoda
Auto Company Brass Orchestra providing
the musical backdrop for the rst time. Throughout
the Festival week, Prague Pride highlighted critical
issues and the needs of the LGBTQ+ community
through a diverse range of programmes aiming to
amplify their voices.
The Czech Rally Championship continues
this weekend (– August) near Zlín
with the
rd
year of the most famous
domestic competition. Barum Czech Rally
Zlín promises a dramatic battle for
the home and European points.
'A quality competition of Czech and
foreign participants will meet on the start,
including crews of Škoda Auto dealer
teams.
A gear lever or automatic transmission selector on the centre console is what most of
us are used to. The fourth-generation Superb and second-generation Kodiaq SUV break
from this tradition, however. The automatic transmission selector, which is the only
choice for these cars, has moved behind the steering wheel.
The reason is simple: better use of interior
space. “By moving the selector behind
the steering wheel, we are improving
ergonomics for the driver while making
the centre console space more practical
for all the car’s occupants. This is in line
with the very DNA of the Škoda brand,”
says Radoslav Horák, who is in charge of
conceptual interior design at the Czech
carmaker.

Zwift awaits the female riders on
the eighth and nal stage from
Le Grand-Bornand to Alpe d'Huez.
Here, the female cyclists will take
on the Col du Glandon, the highest
section of the course at an altitude
of , metres. In total, they will

The unique multi-genre festival
TEMPL FEST will bring a wide
range of cultural activities to Mladá
Boleslav. From to August,
the city centre will resound to the
rhythm of samba and oriental music.
There will be an exhibition, Brazilian
dancers and African music.
The three-day cross-genre gathering
of musicians and dancers will take
place partly in the Templ, with some
parts also happening in the town
center on the “Nad bublinou“ stage.
There will be a listening and concert
part, and an African drumming
workshop.

From August, riders in teams will embark
on a km route across eight stages through the
Netherlands, Belgium and France. The race ends on
August.
Škoda Auto is providing the organisers with electric
and plug-in hybrid Škoda vehicles. The Director of
the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, Marion Rousse,
will use the fully-electric Škoda Enyaq as a Red Car,
overseeing the action on the track from the specially
equipped command centre. Fans can follow the latest news
