    Škoda Scala and Škoda Kamiq:
    Comprehensive Update of Successful Compact Cars
    The updated compact Scala and Kamiq city SUV oer a very high level of active and passive safety
    thanks to their rigid bodies and now an even more advanced range of assistance systems.
    Both vehicles are built on the MQB-A platform and are equipped with economical, modern TSI engines
    of the evo generation with power outputs from  kW ( hp) to  kW ( hp). The Scala looks
    even more dynamic with its sleek, sharp lines. Thanks to the design modications, the Kamiq gives
    the impression of a more robust SUV. Both models are now available (on request) with Matrix-LED
    headlights for the rst time. A higher percentage of recycled and natural materials in the exterior and
    interior ensures greater sustainability. The new oering structure of both models now consists of
     trim levels with  interior variants along with optional equipment packages. An “ mini virtual
    cockpit and infotainment media with .“ display are standard on all models. New Simply Clever
    features are also part of the upgrade.

    Škoda Was Unmissable at
    the Tour de France
    On Sunday,  July, competitors crossed the nish line of the
    

    Tour de France. On this occasion, the competitors were
    accompanied to the nish line by a new Škoda Superb Combi with
    special camouage. The unique Enyaq Coupé Respectline a symbol
    of diversity, equal access and inclusion, also attracted the attention
    of viewers. The trophies for the overall winner and the winner of
    the scoring competition were designed for the thirteenth time by
    the Škoda Design team.
    For the second time in a row, Škoda Auto was also the ocial main
    partner and supplier of cars for the largest professional women‘s
    cycling race in the world. The automaker provided Tour de France
    Femmes avec ZWIFT with  plug-in hybrid and all-electric cars,
    namely the Octavia iV, Superb iV and Enyaq iV, with the all-electric
    SUV serving as the director‘s car, the so-called „Red Car.“

    Pride
    Festival
    
    The Prague Pride Festival is taking place in Prague until this Sunday, highlighting
    equality and themes from the lives of the LGBTQ+ community. Škoda Auto has been
    an ocial partner of the festival for two years. As part of the Pride Village,
    the Škoda Enyaq Coupé Respectline is showcased on Střelecký ostrov.
    Join the Škoda Proud employee group and represent Škoda Auto at the rainbow
    parade on 12 August.

    Rally Finland:
    Sami Pajari Claims His
    First WRC2 Victory in
    Škoda Fabia RS Rally2
    Four Škoda Fabia RS Rally crews nished
    among the top ve cars in the WRC
    category at Rally Finland (– August),
    the ninth round of the FIA World Rally
    Championship (WRC). With fourth place,
    their Norwegian teammate Andreas
    Mikkelsen took the overall lead in the WRC
    category standings.
    From the smooth and fast forest stages of
    central Finland, the WRC crews will take to
    the rough and rocky back-road roads of
    the Peloponnese.

    Škoda Auto has already entered its
    team ve times in the Metrostav
    Handy Cyklomaraton. This stage
    race connects handicapped and non-
    handicapped cyclists together. The 
    th

    – as in previous years.
    The teams had  hours to complete
    the route, during which all members
    of each team had to take turns.
    The theme of this year‘s team relay
    was „in the footsteps of interesting
    personalities“. The obligatory points
    of passage were thus connected with
    famous gures of Czech history.
    Only the best is good enough for our
    customers! The motto of founders Laurin and
    Klement is still followed by Škoda Auto today.
    Therefore, it pays great attention to
    the education of its dealers and service sta.
    Every year, the best of them compare their
    skills in the international Škoda Challenge.
    This year‘s twelfth edition of the Škoda
    Challenge was attended by almost
     nalists from  countries, who
    competed in  individual and two team
    challenges. The team prize went to the Škoda
    brand representation in Slovakia. In individual
    categories, for example, service consultants,
    dealers, mechanics, diagnosticians and others
    compete.

    Simply the Best
    Previously, Škoda Auto‘s non-sales (non-prot) websites
    were linked to the sales websites on one global platform.
    In connection with the rebranding and the transition to
    a new visual identity, a project was created to unify these
    sites and migrate them to their own environment.
    The aim of the project was to migrate these sites to
    a separate platform so that we could unify and
    standardise their appearance in line with our new
    corporate identity.
    The Škoda Auto Museum, Polyclinic and Secondary
    Vocational School websites were rebranded. In addition,
    the new Liferay . platform allows you to quickly edit
    existing websites and create new ones faster. Instead
    of months, the work now takes only a few hours.
