    Preventive pre-holiday recommendations,
    use the health-and-safety kit
    Operating hours of the PCR cell at Gate 3 during
    the summer holidays:
    • From 18/7/2022 to 22/7/2022, operating hours from
    7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
    • Closed from 25/7/2022 to 5/8/2022.
    • From 8/8/2022 to 31/8/2022, testing takes place only every
    Monday and Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
    Dear colleagues,
    It is still necessary to be
    wary of covid-19 and to take
    extra care when travelling
    and meeting people during
    the holiday period. ŠKODA
    AUTO recommends
    increased caution to all
    employees, especially in
    areas and locations with large
    concentrations of people – e.g.
    public transport, cultural and
    social events, popular tourist
    destinations, etc. Make sure
    to maintain a safe distance at
    all times and disinfect your
    hands regularly (not only in
    specically dened areas).
    Wearing a face mask
    or respirator is an
    eective tool to reduce
    the risk of transmission and
    is certainly not a sign of
    excessive caution. You can
    use the health-and-safety kits
    which were distributed during
    July. If you travel by plane,
    we recommend checking the
    aircraft boarding conditions
    with the airline concerned well
    in advance of your trip and
    regularly check the conditions
    for entering foreign countries
    and for returning to the Czech
    Republic.
    Relevant information about
    the conditions for entering
    individual countries is available
    on the Czech Foreign Aairs
    Ministry website, as well as
    the Czech Ministry of Health
    portal which also outlines
    rules for returning to the
    Czech Republic from abroad.
    Before returning to work,
    please ask yourself the
    5 questions from the self-
    assessment questionnaire
    and use the self-test to
    determine your health status
    so that you do not put your
    colleagues at risk.

    AUTO’s Supervisory Board
    The all-electric VISION 7S concept car is ŠKODA’s
    rst concept car to feature the manufacturer’s new
    design language. On Friday, 15/7/2022,
    we revealed the rst sketch of the car's interior.
    In addition to sustainable materials, the minimalist
    interior is characterized by generous space for up
    to seven people in three rows of seats as well as
    ŠKODA’s signature Simply Clever features. ŠKODA
    AUTO presented the new design language in
    March 2022 at the annual press conference.

    We warn about fraudulent
    messages that are currently
    spreading through social
    networks and unocial
    communication channels,
    especially through WhatsApp.
    These messages refer to a fake
    lottery and a questionnaire
    promising to win a ŠKODA
    car. The fraudulent message
    encourages the recipient to
    click on the link, which is then
    unknowingly spread further,
    putting other users at risk.
    ŠKODA AUTO is not
    currently running any such
    competition and is preparing
    a criminal complaint with
    the Czech Police. We ask all
    recipients to remain vigilant
    against such messages and
    not to click on suspicious
    links.

    AUTO REPRESENTATIVES
    SIGNED A MEMORANDUM
    OF COOPERATION WITH FOUR
    CZECH UNIVERSITIES.
    Specically, the Czech Technical
    University in Prague (ČVUT),
    the University of Chemistry and
    Technology, Prague (VŠCHT),
    the Brno University of Technology
    (VUT) and the University of
    West Bohemia in Pilsen (ZČU)
    participate. All parties want to
    jointly promote sustainable
    development and cooperation
    on research, development and
    innovation, especially in the eld
    of batteries, not only for the
    automotive industry. This initiative
    should also help the realization of
    the GigaFactory project in the
    Czech Republic. ŠKODA AUTO
    representatives discussed their
    plans with Maroš Šefčovič,
    the Vice-President of the
    European Commission.

    The donation project is

    launched in 2013. Only at
    the beginning, few people
    imagined how generous
    ŠKODA AUTO employees
    would be over the years.
