Talents
The Area V talent meeting, held on June
, , in the Vision Hall in Kosmonosy,
welcomed participants and oered
a day full of inspiration focused on personal
development and mental resilience.
The program was opened by Petra
Janíčková, who spoke about resilience and
well-being, followed by psychotherapist
Jan Benda, who introduced the principles
of mindfulness in the workplace.
Board member Martin Jahn and surgeon
Tomáš Šebek also shared their experiences
– Šebek’s story from Doctors Without
Borders illustrated what courage and
empathy look like in practice. Organized
under the auspices of VAQ, the event also
served as a platform for networking and
strengthening team collaboration.

Helping Matters:
ST Team Supports BONA
On Thursday, June , , the Organization
Development & HR Management team returned
to the BONA shelter in Kozly to put their shoulder to
the wheel. Eleven volunteers took part in repairing
roofs and fences, mowing the grass, and landscaping.
They also found time to walk and reward
the four-legged friends. Before the volunteering day,
a fundraising campaign was held, which made it
possible to purchase feed and treats for the dogs and
cats waiting for a new home. The employees left with
a good feeling and the conviction that their help truly
makes a dierence.
The Škoda EDU.Lab mobile technology lab became
the centerpiece of the pilot Maker Academy
project, which supported technical education
through workshops and hands-on demonstrations
in the Rychnov and Vrchlabí regions. Inside
the modern, fully equipped trailer, students and the
public could try out D printing, virtual reality,
articial intelligence, and even the Unitree Go
robotic dog. The project focused on developing
STEAM education and connected schools with
experts through mentoring, community activities,
and research into polytechnic education in
the regions.

Father's Day at
Škoda Auto in
a dierent way
On June , a special event was
held at the Laurin & Klement campus
to mark Father’s Day, organized in
cooperation with the Dobrý táta
(Good Dad) initiative. The program
oered lectures, experience sharing,
and joint activities for fathers and
their children. The morning session
was opened by David Škrobánek,
who spoke about active fatherhood,
complemented by personal stories
from Škoda Auto employees and
board member Martin Jahn.
The afternoon featured a playful
workout session with elements of
acroyoga for fathers and their kids.
At the challenging Acropolis Rally in Greece, Gus
Greensmith and Jonas Andersson secured an impressive
second place in the WRC category driving the Škoda
Fabia RS Rally. In extreme conditions full of punctures
and technical issues, ve Škoda crews managed to stay
among this category front-runners. Martin Prokop and
co-driver Michal Ernst nished sixth, conrming the car’s
reliability even in the toughest terrain. After the rocky roads
of Greece, WRC crews now head to the smooth gravel of
northern Europe for the rally in Estonia, taking place in
the Tartu region from July to , .

Škoda Mobil, the employee newspaper of the Mladá Boleslav-based carmaker, includes special supplements that focus on especially important topics from Škoda's perspective.
