While until now employees have only had to

the new digital tools available 24/7 to
deal with their request.

Andreas Dick will be the new Škoda Auto a.s.
Board Member for Production and Logistics as of
1 September 2023. As Technical Vice President at
the company FAW-Volkswagen in Changchun, he is
currently responsible for the Production, Logistics and
Development divisions, among others. He succeeds
Michael Oeljeklaus, who has been responsible for the
portfolio since 2010.

Introducing the Ninth Škoda Roadiaq Apprentice Car

The car has been transformed into
a “motorhome“ with a mobile oce
with an interior made of sustainable
materials, which the so-called digital
nomads can use comfortably for
work and travel.
The ninth Škoda Roadiaq apprentice
car is ready. It was created within the
framework of the SOU Škoda Auto
project. This year, 29 apprentices took
part in the transformation of the Enyaq
electric car.
Enyaq Coupé Respectline
was Exhibited at the Open
Air Concert of the Czech
This year‘s Open Air concert was traditionally
held on Hradčany Square in Prague and was at
the same time broadcasted live on ČT art.
The concert was free to attend and the audience
could enjoy the atmosphere directly from the Hrad-
čany area. Škoda Auto has been a long-standing
traditional partner of the Czech Philharmonic
and as part of the cooperation provides mobility for
artists and guests in Škoda cars.

Economical Cooking
Without electricity, natural gas and oil, contemporary
civilization would soon collapse. Energy prices are
rising. It is essential to start looking at how to manage
these resources and how to ensure that they will be
abundant in the future. Good energy management not
only saves money, but also the environment. Aramark‘s
environmental campaign oers tips on how to save
energy when cooking.
How to save energy when cooking?
Use induction cookers. Cook more food at once. Look for recipes
where the cooking process is kept to a minimum.
You can reduce
yout energy
consumption
up to
20%
if you
cook with the lid
on the pot.
Cooking larger quantities of food is
also benecial, usually saving up to
25% per portion.
On average, a microwave oven uses
50% less energy
than a convetional gas cooker.

Safari Rally Kenya
They did it again! In a copy of their 2022
success, Kajetan Kajetanowicz and
co-driver Maciej Szczepaniak win WRC2
at Safari Rally Kenya, round seven of the
2023 FIA World Rally Championship.
The Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo crew from
Poland made the best of the extremely
dicult road conditions on the rain-soaked
East African plains and were also fastest of
all competitors with RC2 class cars as well
as taking top spot of the WRC2 Challenger
position.

Škoda Auto has introduced
a new sound logo. It is
a musical “signature“
that brands use to identify
themselves. The carmaker‘s
team initially experimented
with about fty original sound
„sketches“.
In the end, the sound inspired
by Bedřich Smetana‘s
symphonic poem Vltava won
out. The resulting sound logo
can be heard in the new brand
campaign.

Škoda Auto comes up with a preview of
the second generation Kodiaq. The new car
will have a more distinctive design, more
advanced assistance systems, an innovative
interior concept with a touchscreen display
up to 12.9“ or a gear selector on the
steering column below the steering wheel.
Passengers, especially in the third row, will
appreciate the increased space.
There will be two petrol and two diesel
engines with outputs ranging from 110 kW
(150 hp) to 150 kW (204 hp). The Kodiaq
will also be introduced for the rst time
in a plug-in hybrid version, which will oer
an electric range of over 100 kilometres.
