Škodaverse returns with its latest metaverse initiative.
This time, it is entering the world of Roblox with Škoda
Bike Planet, an immersive experience focused on cycling
education and road safety.
Through gaming and interactive activities, it teaches users
to recognise cycling infrastructure, understand trac
signs, and how to behave in real road situations. The Škoda
world in Roblox oers a fun and engaging way to connect
with younger generations through a combination of
educational content and entertainment, making
the learning process about cycling safety more enjoyable
and eective. Using gamication and interactive elements
to teach important safety rules and procedures makes
Škoda Bike Planet an engaging and unforgettable
experience.

in Ekonom Magazine’s
Sustainability Ranking
At the beginning of June, the weekly
magazine Ekonom organised the
Sustainable Forum conference with
representatives from the Confederation
of Industry and Transport, focusing on
responsible and sustainable business
practices. As part of this forum, the
Ekonom Sustainability Strategy Ranking
was announced, highlighting best practice
projects in sustainability.
Škoda Auto was nominated ‘Best-in-
Class in ESG’ for its sustainability strategy
and also reported three best practice
projects: The Protected/Prole Centre,
the Škoda Stress website designed to
support public health, and the Krakonoš
Gardens project – a grant programme
aimed at supporting the diversity of plant
and animal species.

Škoda Auto commemorated the 
th
anniversary of
the start of production of the Škoda Rapid OHV with
an aerodynamic body by participating in this year’s
 Miles of Czechoslovakia race (– June).
The so-called ‘highway type’ vehicles are highly valued as
collectors’ items, with only  units produced, according
to company records. The twelfth staging of the revived
 Miles of Czechoslovakia, focused on historic
vehicles, once again sent participants on the Prague-
Bratislava-Prague route, echoing the original races from
the s.

At the Pride Business Forum Awards, the automaker received the LGBTQ+
Friendly Employer  award, specically the Big Step Forward prize given
to organisations for signicant advancements in activities supporting LGBTQ+
people. This prestigious award is presented to companies that actively contribute to
creating an inclusive work environment for LGBTQ+ employees. The individual Pride
Business Forum Hero award was given to Martina Zimmermann (in the middle),
Diversity Coordinator at Škoda Auto, for her intensive eorts in promoting LGBTQ+
equality in the workplace and creating a safe and inclusive environment for all.
This year, Škoda Auto made a signicant
leap by strongly committing to the
inclusion of LGBTQ+ people through
several key initiatives and implementing
comprehensive training programs focused
on this topic. The employee group Škoda
Proud has received strong support from
the company and plays a key role in
building community and supporting change
internally.

Škoda Mobil, the employee newspaper of the Mladá Boleslav-based carmaker, includes special supplements that focus on especially important topics from Škoda's perspective. Supplements can be a part of the newspaper, in the same format as the newspaper, inserted, for example, in the form of a flyer, or they can be stand-alone unique magazines in a specific format, such as supplements dedicated to new models, the brand's historical anniversaries, or other important information from the company's environment.
