    On Monday 29 May,
    the winners of the regional
    rounds of the Employer of
    the Year 2023 competition
    were announced at the
    PricewaterhouseCoopers
    Conference Centre in Prague.
    Škoda Auto won the rst
    prize in the Central Bohemia
    Region in the category of
    over 5,000 employees.
    The national nal will take
    place on 12 June at the
    METRONOM Business
    Centre in Prague.

    the Year 2023
    in the Central
    Bohemia Region
    On 7–8 June 2023
    took place corporate
    innovation event
    „InnoDay 2023“, which
    was for all employees of
    the automaker.
    The event at the Škoda
    Museum presented internal
    innovative and digitisation
    projects, accompanied by
    an interesting supporting
    programme.

    Unique Design:
    The Škoda Enyaq Coupé Respectline
    Škoda Auto presents the unique design of the Enyaq Coupé Respectline. The
    purpose of the distinctive car is to draw attention to the importance of protecting
    human rights, equal treatment and respect for people and the environment. The
    exterior and interior are decorated with design elements. The Enyaq Coupé
    Respectline was created as a collective work of Škoda Auto employees from various
    departments.

    Number of the Week
    1 milion
    During the Zlín Film Festival,
    Škoda Auto ocially handed
    over the new Enyaq iV to
    the non-prot organisation
    Zdravotní klaun. The design
    of the car was based on
    a child‘s design by eight-
    year-old František Hanko. In
    addition to the unique electric
    car, the automobile company
    also provided this non-prot
    organisation with a nancial
    donation of CZK 1,000,000.

    Detour Route
    Kosmonosy
    These days the repair of the
    intersection of Boleslavská,
    Debřská and Stakorská streets
    in Kosmonosy has started, this
    restriction has interrupted the
    trac route Mladá Boleslav –
    Bakov nad Jizerou.
    The repair will last until 31 Octo-
    ber 2023. The detour route
    leads through Debřská Street,
    Radoučská Connector and along
    the I/38 road, or via the D10
    motorway to Průmyslová Street.
    We ask Škoda Auto employees to
    follow the recommended detour
    routes and not to use local trac
    calmed roads in order to maintain
    safety and trac ow.

    It will be on public display for the rst time at the Open Air
    concert of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra on 21
    June. It will also appear at the Pride Business Forum, Prague
    Pride Festival and other summer events at home and abroad.

    Eco-friendly Upholstery
    for the Škoda Enyaq iV
    Škoda Auto continues on its path to sustainability.
    Enyaq seats with EcoSuit upholstery are created from
    waste products through a special process. The eco-
    friendly upholstery is made from genuine leather and olive
    tree leaves. The leather would otherwise end up in landll
    as waste from the meat industry and the leaves used to
    make the extract are waste from olive harvesting, so no
    trees are cut down. It takes about 215,000 olive leaves
    to create the extract to clean the skins for one Enyaq.
    Come to the Health
    and Social
    Services Day
    On Wednesday 14 June,
    the Health and Social Services
    Day will take place at the Bondy
    Centre in MB. The event starts at
    10 am. There you will meet social
    service providers who will advise
    you on various life situations. You
    will see demonstrations of health
    and compensatory aids with the
    opportunity to try them out, you
    can have your blood pressure, blood
    sugar level or blood type measured
    by experts.

    Michaela Sklenářová:
    Škoda Auto‘s New PR
    Manager and Spokesperson
    Michaela Sklenářová took over the
    position of press spokesperson for the
    Czech representation of Škoda Auto
    from Pavel Jín on 1 June. In her new
    position, she will be responsible for the
    communication of the Škoda brand on the
    Czech market. Pavel Jína is now in charge
    of the carmaker‘s global communications
    and the gigafactory theme.

    European Diversity
    Month at Škoda
    Auto!
    This year, the European Union
    has declared May as “European
    Diversity Month“ with the aim of
    promoting and raising awareness
    of diversity, equity and inclusion
    in the workplace and in everyday
    life. Škoda Auto has once again
    joined this call, actively promoting
    tolerance, equal opportunities,
    diversity and cooperation based on
    mutual respect. The carmaker is an
    attractive employer for everyone,
    regardless of social or health
    limitations.

    Škoda X: New Centre for
    Digital Services and Mobility
    Solutions
    Škoda Auto DigiLab changes its name to Škoda X.
    The carmaker is now pushing the digitalisation of
    its products and services. The letter “X“ stands for
    Exponential, Exploring, Expanding.
    Martin Jahn, member of the Škoda Auto Board of
    Management for Sales and Marketing, says:
    “With Škoda Auto DigiLab’s transformation
    into Škoda X, we are taking a signicant step
    forward, transitioning from the lab to real-world
    implementation.“
    The new Škoda X Innovation Centre is expected to
    be fast, exible and highly ecient in providing digital
    services and mobility solutions. Škoda X will support
    the core business of the Mladá Boleslav-based
    carmaker as well as the digitalisation of its products.
