: Innovation in Motion
Do you know where the -year-long story of our car company began? You can read about it in the
series dedicated to the construction growth of the Škoda Auto plant in Mladá Boleslav. In its second
installment, we return to the places where the successful history of the Laurin & Klement brand began –
buildings V and V! These are the very rst
factory buildings in the old plant, where
the production of bicycles and motorcycles
gave birth to the production of automobiles.
These buildings still stand within the plant's
premises and continue to embody the
spirit of these pioneering beginnings – for
example, in the form of the Škoda Museum,
which is now housed in building V.

Selected Škoda vehicles can
feature an advanced Remote
Parking function as part
of the automatic parking
system, which enables both
perpendicular and parallel
parking, as well as support
for exiting a parking space.
This function is optionally
available in various trim levels
or packages, and the parking
maneuver, as well as exiting
the parking space, can be
controlled via the MyŠkoda
mobile application.
Remote Parking signicantly
facilitates entering and exiting
the vehicle in tight spaces,
with sensors around the car
ensuring the safe execution
of the maneuver. The process
is interrupted if the user lifts
their nger from the parking
button or moves too far away
from the vehicle, ensuring
that the driver always has
control over their car.

míru Race for the First Time

as the ocial mobility partner. The organizers will be
provided with  electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
This famous race, part of the elite Nations' Cup U
series, will bring rising stars of world road cycling to
the Czech Republic. The  Peace Race will take place
in the Jeseníky region from  May to  June and will
include a challenging climb to Dlouhé Stráně. Škoda Auto
has long supported cycling at all levels, including top races
like the Tour de France and domestic events. Additionally,
the company recently signed a two-year sponsorship
contract with the UCI for the World Championships
in mountain biking and gravel racing.
An Icon in Modern Form: The Electrifying Favorit
Škoda Auto designers have once again drawn inspiration from the
brand's rich history to create a modern version of the legendary
Škoda Favorit. Using the design language Modern Solid, they have
crafted a contemporary reincarnation of the model that signicantly
shaped the current direction of the Mladá Boleslav car manufacturer.
Designers Ljudmil Slavov and David Stingl approached the original
design with humility, creating a compact and practical car that is
clean and simple in shape.
The resulting concept incorporates iconic elements of the original
model while simultaneously appearing modern and appealing to
today's customers with its design.
