“Shall we build an Octavia together?”
This is what Michael Peifer, editor-in-
chief of the German magazine Auto
Motor und Sport, asked Klaus Zellmer
following Škoda’s double victory in the
Best Cars Reader’s Choice poll.
The readers of ‘auto motor und sport’
named the Octavia as the winner in the
mid-size car category, while the Fabia
triumphed in the category of small
imported cars. Agreeing with the editor-
in-chief’s spontaneous suggestion, Škoda
Auto’s CEO, along with Andreas Dick,
Board Member for Production, put on
company assembly uniforms and joined
the regular manufacturing process at the
Mladá Boleslav plant’s M production
hall alongside permanent employees.

challenging task, check out Škoda Space.
