In an interview for the newspaper Právo,
Klaus Zellmer, CEO of Škoda Auto, revealed
that the car maker plans to produce one
million cars annually within three years, with
the Fabia model remaining in production
until the end of this decade. He further
assured that due to strong demand for cars,
no layos are planned. The transition to
electromobility will take longer than expected
due to current prices, infrastructure, and
customer preferences, which according to
Zellmer, is conrmed by the extension of
CO emission limits by the European Union
by three years. Škoda Auto is focusing on
expanding its oer of electric vehicles and
its expansion into dynamic markets such as
India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
Zellmer emphasized that the key to success
is maintaining cost eciency, exibility, and
competitiveness to ensure the company
remains a leader in the industry.

The RS designation has adorned sportier
Škoda cars for years, and their
development requires technical wizardry.
According to Petr Šulc from Škoda Auto's
Technical Development, tuning RS
models is not just about maximum
performance but also everyday usability.
The Octavia RS boasts front-wheel drive
with an electronically controlled VAQ
dierential, while the Kodiaq RS oers
all-wheel drive with an electro-hydraulically
controlled multi-plate clutch. Both models
are equipped with a seven-speed DSG
transmission and a specic chassis that
combines sporty driving with comfort.
Design elements such as black-painted
accents and red brake calipers emphasize
the sporty character of these cars.
In , the Volkswagen Group,
which encompasses
companies with approximately
, employees worldwide,
recorded , warnings and ,
terminations of employment due to
violations of work discipline. These
measures aected approximately
one percent of employees, including
warnings and terminations
resulting from investigations of
serious legal violations within the
Whistleblower system. The most
common reasons for termination
of employment were unexcused
absences, fraudulent behavior, failure
to fulll work duties, and violations
of the prohibition on alcohol and
drug use. The Volkswagen Group
has been regularly publishing these
statistics since , emphasizing
the importance of integrity,
compliance, and fair treatment.
New Service Škoda Explore:
Making Electromobility Accessible to the General Public
Škoda Auto has introduced a new service called Škoda Explore, which allows customers
to test electric cars Elroq and Enyaq. This service oers long-term test drives at
authorized dealers across the Czech Republic. Interested individuals can try out
the cars for periods ranging from one to fteen days, thus gaining personal experience
with electromobility. The Škoda Explore platform is easily accessible online and includes
a simple reservation process.
Helping Nature:
Employees Collected Over
7 tons of waste
For the past years, Škoda Auto has been
participating in the nationwide project “Ukliďme
Česko“ (Let’s Clean Czechia), which calls on
volunteers to collect waste in nature. This year,
employees from all three production plants
ventured into nearby areas to contribute to
environmental protection. Nearly employees
and their close ones participated in the event,
collecting more than tons of waste. The eort
to help nature by removing waste has been
supported by the company's management and
the KOVO union since . Environmental
protection and volunteer activities are among
the fundamental values of the car manufacturer,
which is why the GreenFuture strategy was
developed. This strategy includes its goals in
the areas of climate protection and sustainability.
