Gunnar Kilian, Volkswagen AG Board
Member for HR and Truck & Bus,
recently visited Škoda Auto’s main plant
in Mladá Boleslav. His full-day itinerary
included a tour of the newly constructed
Laurin & Klement Kampus (LKK).
During his visit, Kilian engaged in
a dialogue with dispatched foreign
employees (FSE) through a Q&A panel,
and the day also featured strategic
meetings and presentations on the
objectives of the People & Culture area.
COMPETITION: Simply Diverse Challenge
In celebration of European Diversity Month, the Diversity and Inclusion team at Škoda
Auto has organised the Simply Diverse Challenge for you again this year. Take part in the
contest and seize the chance to win items from the Simply Diverse collection every week in
May. Stay tuned on the Škoda Space homepage and the European Diversity Month page
at Škoda Auto, where the challenge for the week will be announced every Monday.
Girls Day
at Škoda Auto
As part of International Girls Day, which is
held annually in several European countries,
girls and women had the opportunity to
explore the world of technical universities,
research centres, and companies.
This year, more than 200 girls from eighth
grades of elementary schools visited Škoda
Auto’s Vocational School of Engineering.
The event included a range of activities,
such as a tour of the school facilities, a quiz
related to the Student Car project, and an
introduction to robotics and CNC machines.

Škoda Auto
Is Again the
Most Admired
Company in the
Czech Republic
Škoda Auto has been named the
top company in the ‘100 most
admired’ ranking by the CZECH
TOP 100 project. Ladislav Kučera,
the Specialist Coordinator of
Social Sustainability at Škoda
Auto and the Director of the
Škoda Auto Foundation Fund,
accepted the award at the ocial
ceremony.
The Czech automaker has
successfully defended its top
position in this ranking from last
year.
ŠkodaGPT:
Smarter and More Useful
For over two months now, Škoda Auto employees have been
using the ŠkodaGPT application. The FIT AICC team has
successfully upgraded to the latest version of the application,
GPT-4, which oers more up-to-date and accurate
information, understands more complex tasks, answers more
complicated queries, and delivers higher quality outputs.

Škoda Mobil, the employee newspaper of the Mladá Boleslav-based carmaker, includes special supplements that focus on especially important topics from Škoda's perspective. Supplements can be a part of the newspaper, in the same format as the newspaper, inserted, for example, in the form of a flyer, or they can be stand-alone unique magazines in a specific format, such as supplements dedicated to new models, the brand's historical anniversaries, or other important information from the company's environment.
