    The main reasons include the
    ongoing chip shortage and supply
    chain disruptions due to the war
    in Ukraine. The company will
    therefore be consistently pursuing
    its NEXT LEVEL EFFICIENCY+
    programme over the coming
    months. The company also expects
    the supply of parts to improve
    during the second half of the year.

    opens its doors
    Hello,
    I would also like to share my little,
    but I believe pleasurable experience
    in helping people from Ukraine.
    As a member of the Divadýlko
    na dlani theatre group, I took part
    in the preparation of a theatre
    performance for Ukrainian children
    who are staying in the Jezová
    accommodation facility.
    We do not normally do children´s
    theatre performances so we had
    to make the props and costumes
    ourselves using our own resources.
    We also had to write the script of
    the fairy-tales to be performed in
    Ukrainian and then learn our lines by
    heart. Since the event took place
    on 15/4/2022, i.e. before Easter,
    we also prepared workshops where
    the kids and their mums could try
    out making Easter willow canes
    and decorations. We wanted
    to make the event really enjoyable
    for the kids, so at the end of the day
    the kids were rewarded for their
    work in the workshops with sweets
    and little presents that we had
    bought for them. Our theatre group
    members, including my ŠKODA
    colleague Michaela Charvátová
    (VX1), also contribute nancially to
    support Ukraine.
    I personally think that our initiative
    is just a little form of support. We
    are happy, though, that we could
    use our own skills to please children
    who are facing many diculties in
    these troubled times. And seeing
    their shiny eyes and watching them
    spontaneously join in the activities
    and just be happy for a little while
    – that was all a really pleasant
    experience for us, too.

    MEASURES
    COURSES STARTED AT
    THE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE
    ‘ PRAGUE’ IN THE CZECH

    The innovative didactic concept focuses on continuous learning and
    sustainably strengthening social skills. In the future, 150 programmers
    will be graduating from the educational institute every year. For more

    As of Thursday,
    5/5/2022, the obligation
    to wear respirators at
    healthcare and social care
    centres imposed under
    the Ministry of Health
    Special Decree has been
    lifted. At ŠKODA AUTO,
    this ends the obligation
    to wear respiratory
    protection equipment
    in GPs' surgeries, at the
    ŠKODA AUTO Polyclinic,
    as well as on all other
    premises of healthcare
    centres on ŠKODA
    AUTO sites. As a result,
    after agreement with
    the KOVO Trade Union,
    the obligation to wear
    respiratory protection
    equipment ends in all
    contexts and situations
    across ŠKODA AUTO
    as of 5/5/2022. Further
    measures, such as the end
    of free preventive PCR
    testing, can be found on
    ŠKODA Space.

    ŠKODA AUTO has been the ocial main sponsor of the International Ice
    Hockey Federation (IIHF) Ice Hockey World Championship uninterruptedly
    for three decades. In 2017, the Czech car manufacturer’s commitment was
    recognized as the Guinness World Record for the longest main sponsorship in the
    history of world sports championships. This year, the tournament will take place in
    the Finnish cities of Helsinki and Tampere from 13 to 29/5/2022. ŠKODA AUTO
    is providing the organizers with a eet of 45 vehicles, including the all-electric

    “My Apps” as “VW Translation”.
    The GMT app serves for work-
    related translations only. Using
    this machine translator, you can
    immediately create fast translations
    for free. It is allowed to process
    texts/documents with the
    classication „Condential“ at most.
    Therefore, you may translate all
    work-related texts except for those
    with the “Secret” classication.
