The nal round of the rd Technology Olympiad,
supported by Škoda Auto as the general partner, took
place at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech
Technical University in Prague. The nal round was
attended by  of the best teams ( students) plus
one wildcard team from an Instagram competition
consisting of students from grammar schools and
secondary schools. Throughout the day, students
consulted with mentors on their projects in categories
such as electromobility, articial intelligence,
cybersecurity, cryptocurrencies, D printing, and
other technological trends. The rst prize and the general
partner’s award went to team ‘Techboss’ for their app
‘ProKrok,’ which combines a guide for healthy senior
movement and appointment scheduling. Team ‘Vesničani’
received a special award from the general partner for their
project using sensors for smarter city trac management
utilising AI and IoT, aiming to minimise unnecessary travel
and time spent in trac.
Škoda UNI.Lab:
workshops and
presentations to
inspire students
At the Škoda UNI.Lab, an
innovative workshop ‘Idea
Generator focused on
entrepreneurship was held by
the Student Business Club of the
Technical University of Liberec.
The event catered to both
entrepreneurial novices and those
with specic ideas looking for ways
to implement them.
Škoda Motorsport also presented
their history and technological
advancements to students through
a presentation led by Motorsport
experts Jakub Ježek and Tereza
Kyselová, who shared their extensive
experience in motorsport and
introduced the students to the racing
special – Škoda Fabia RS Rally.

join in spring tree
planting
A total of  employees from
the Driving Assistants, Data, and
Connectivity (EED) department
planted  cherry and plum
trees along a country road in the
village of Čistá. The eort aimed
to restore trees that historically
grew in this area, providing
valuable shade in the summer
months, acting as windbreaks in
the at landscape, and improving
the local microclimate.

Mladá Boleslav, employees from
the Vehicle Production Quality
(GQF), Purchased Parts (GQD),
and Components (GQH) depart

Škoda Mobil, the employee newspaper of the Mladá Boleslav-based carmaker, includes special supplements that focus on especially important topics from Škoda's perspective.
