Škoda Auto at the Rally  Castles Trial
On Saturday, 22 April, the 8th edition of the 7 Castles Trial vintage car competition
took place, which was attended by vintage cars of the Škoda Classic team. The route,
roughly 250 kilometres long, started in Prague and led through the Central Bohemian
Region and Kokořínsko back to the starting point. Among the historic cars we could also
see a Škoda Superb 3000 OHV from 1939, the oldest car in the starting eld.
The traditional Narcis Podsedníček trophy was waiting for the best Škoda car.
Czech Prime Minister
Petr Fiala Visits the Future
Škoda Car Production Plant
in Vietnam
Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala visited the future
Škoda car production plant located in the Vietnamese
province of Quàng Ninh.
During the visit, the Prime Minister met with Martin
Jahn, Škoda Auto Board member for Sales and
Marketing, and representatives of the brand and
its local partner, Thanh Cong Motor Vietnam (TC
Motor), as well as Vietnamese President Võ Văn
Thuõng and the country’s Prime Minister Pham
Minh Chính. The purpose of the ocial visit was to
show the Czech politician’s support for the carmaker’s
business operations in Vietnam. Škoda is taking on
a strategic leadership role for the Volkswagen Brand
Group Volume in the ASEAN countries, with Vietnam
playing a key role as a strategic gateway. The aim is to
maximise the Group’s growth potential in the region,
which is economically highly attractive.

Škoda Auto is further accelerating its oensive
and transformation in the eld of electric
mobility. With the launch of four new electric cars
and two upgraded members of the Enyaq family,
the Czech carmaker plans to expand its range of
pure electric cars to six models by 2026.
Škoda Auto will soon have the most diverse
portfolio in its history, which will also include
the new generations of the Superb and Kodiaq,
the modernised Octavia, Kamiq and Scala,
and new pure electric cars – the SUV with the
working title „Small“, the compact SUV Elroq,
the spacious „Combi“ and the seven-seater SUV
„Space“.
By combining the best of both worlds,
the carmaker will always oer customers in
dierent markets the right Škoda car to suit
everyone‘s requirements and tastes.

Rally Croatia: Seven Škoda
Fabia Finish Inside Top 
of the WRC Category
Škoda crews took the majority of the points scoring
positions in WRC category at Rally Croatia
(– April ). In total seven of the new
Škoda Fabia RS Rally and the predecessor model
Škoda Fabia Rally evo featured inside the top
 of the FIA World Rally Championship’s (WRC)
fourth round. Highest placed Škoda crew in WRC
were Nikolay Gryazin/Konstantin Aleksandrov
in second position. Categories WRC Challenger
and WRC Masters Cup were dominated by drivers
at the wheel of the Škoda Fabia RS Rally.
