    FOR ŠKODA AUTO EMPLOYEES
    The Clean Up Czechia, a volunteer clean-up event,
    attracted the highest number of participants ever
    on 2/4/2022. Of the approximately 200 volunteers
    who decided to support the initiative aimed at
    relieving nature of the accumulated rubbish in the
    Mladá u Milovic area, a number of Škodians joined
    in and 58 Ukrainian volunteers also participated.
    In one of the largest protected areas in the Czech
    Republic, 17.64 tons of rubbish was collected, of
    which approximately 3 tons were tires, which will
    be recycled and used to produce alternative fuel
    in accordance with environmental standards.
    The Clean Up Czechia event will continue in May,
    in the vicinity of the Vrchlabí and Kvasiny plants.

    Hello,
    I am very happy that I have been able to
    help a family of four from Charkov. The
    grandma and her daughter with her two
    kids have perfectly t in with the other
    members of our family. It is incredible
    how they managed to arrange their life
    in just three days. In this short time they
    were able to secure everything they
    need: the kids go to school, their mum
    has a job and all of them are learning
    Czech. And it took them just three days.
    But the greatest reward for me is to see
    the smile on the children´s faces and
    the feeling that they are safe. So if you
    can, please join in. Helping to protect
    human lives is the least we can do.

    Ariane Kilian was previously responsible
    for communications at the Group’s
    Technology and Volkswagen Group
    Components division and will be
    reporting to ŠKODA AUTO’s new
    Chairman of the Board of Management,
    Klaus Zellmer.

    The latest SIMPLY CLEVER
    PODCAST is about helping people
    from Ukraine who, however, are
    also helping us at ŠKODA AUTO.
    How so? Due to the war, PEKM
    Kabeltechnik temporarily suspended
    production at its plant in Lviv, where
    they assemble cable harnesses
    for door panels, bumpers, seats,
    and towbars. The factory is now
    operating again, but to a limited
    extent due to supply constraints.
    This is why we at ŠKODA AUTO
    have decided to help the company
    by duplicating the production,
    specically in Mladá Boleslav. We
    have thus enabled some of the sta
    to leave war-torn Ukraine for safety.

    THE SEVENTH EDITION

    TRIAL RALLY
    Come and see the spring one-day rally 7 Castles Trial
    2022. This year, 70 historic cars will be joining the
    event, including several from the ŠKODA Museum,
    such as the ŠKODA Felicia, ŠKODA 120 GLS,
    ŠKODA 1100 MBX De Luxe and ŠKODA 440
    Spartak. The rally starts on 30/4/2022 in Prague,
    near the Engine Classic Cars Gallery. This year's route
    covers a total of 238 km and is divided into three
    stages. You can look forward to a great experience with
    a wide variety of precision tests that are comparable to
    other events of this type in terms of their number and
    variability.

    crews among the top 10
    in category WRC2
    Best-placed ŠKODA crew was the Polish duo Kajetan
    Kajetanowicz/Maciej Szczepaniak in second position
    in the category. As planned, the third round of the FIA
    World Rally Championship was not part of Andreas
    Mikkelsen’s program. After winning the category
    in Monte-Carlo and Sweden, the reigning WRC2
    Champion from Norway and driver of a ŠKODA FABIA
    Rally2 evo nevertheless still leads the overall standings.
