Preparations are in full swing for assembling Škoda
vehicles at the Vietnamese partner plant, TCVH.
At the Pune plant in India, Complete Knock Down
(CKD) kits of the Kushaq and Slavia models are
being prepared for export, and a new Component
Dispatch Centre is now operational. The rst container
with  kits for pre-series production in Vietnam
was shipped from Mladá Boleslav in February and
is expected to arrive at Haiphong port by the end
of April. Plans for this year include shipping three
more containers from Mladá Boleslav. Once series
production commences, up to  containers of
CKD kits for the Kushaq and Slavia are expected to be
sent from India weekly, accompanied by one to two
containers from Mladá Boleslav.

First Containers to Vietnam
One of Škoda’s latest releases, the Superb
Combi, was showcased to  journalists
from  countries around the picturesque
settings of Lisbon, Portugal. There were
 vehicles available for testing, including
various trim levels and engines, such as
the plug-in hybrid iV version. Giving
journalists, YouTubers, and inuencers rst-
hand experience is a crucial part of launching
a new car. Following the world premiere,
a driving presentation is held where
journalists can try out and evaluate the vehicle
themselves. Wondering what such an event
looks like? Check out the Škoda Storyboard
for a glimpse.
On the second Monday of April, nearly 
participants gathered at the Vision Hall in STC
Kosmonosy to discuss the topic of corporate
culture within Vehicle Production. The main
agenda featured panel discussions with employees
from the Vehicle Production department and
leaders from the HR Business Centre and
Digitalisation department. Topics such as
diversity, remote work, new technologies, articial
intelligence, and the availability of electronic devices
to simplify daily tasks in Production were explored.

Even more spacious and practical than its
predecessor, the new Kodiaq also has a brand new
design with Modern Solid elements. The design
team didn’t only focus on making the Kodiaq
elegant; they wanted its appearance to immediately
convey the space it oers inside. Getting so much
space inside an elegant form is always a challenge,
according to Škoda Auto’s Chief Designer Oliver
Stefani. How did his team tackle it? And what are
they most proud of? Check out the video on the
Škoda Storyboard for insights.

After the Alpine Rallye Monte-Carlo, the full-snow Rally Sweden and the
rough gravel of the Safari Rally Kenya, the FIA World Rally Championship
(WRC) now takes to the roads of Rally Croatia (– April ).
WRC overall leaders Oliver Solberg/Elliott Edmondson and third placed
Gus Greensmith/Jonas Andersson, both of Škoda Motorsport supported
team Toksport WRT, will not be competing for WRC points. Thus, other
Škoda Fabia RS Rally crews ght for the category victory.
