RECRUITMENT CENTER
ORGANIZED A CAREER DAY
FOR UKRAINIAN WOMEN
Part of the aid to refugees from Ukraine is providing
support when looking for employment. The ŠKODA AUTO
Recruitment Centre prepared an event at which recruitment
specialists introduced women from Ukraine to job vacancies in
Mladá Boleslav and the surrounding area, as well as throughout
the Czech Republic and directly at the carmaker. Career Day for
Ukrainian Women took place on Wednesday, 6/4/2022. More

Eective as of Thursday,
14/4/2022, in line with the
latest government decree
and based on the dialogues
with the KOVO Trade Union,
the obligation to wear
respiratory protection
equipment (respirators) in
public transport is abolished,
including sta transport buses
provided by ŠKODA AUTO.
The obligation to wear Class
FFP2/KN95 respirators inside
all healthcare centres remains
in force.

University has introduced the For My
Smile project, thanks to which you can
support Ukrainian students who, due to
the emergency situation, can no longer
nance their studies on their own.
Hello,
I have been working as a volunteer in
an evacuation centre in Prague 10.
On 15/3/2022, 58 Ukrainian refugees
arrived there. Most of them are mothers
with children, but there are also
grandmothers, grandfathers and a couple
of dogs and cats. It is really upsetting for
me to see their suering and listen to
their stories.
We are trying hard to make them feel
at home and welcomed and create an
atmosphere that would help them to
forget a little bit about all those horrors
they have been through. This could never
happen without the help of volunteer
remen from Prague - Dubeč who
spend there 24 hours a day. My sincere
thanks also belong to my ŠKODA AUTO
colleagues from FRE and FRE/1
departments who did not hesitate to
oer material aid. It is really impressive
to see people who have never seen each
other before join together in order to help
those in need.

#Project1Hour – BECOME PART
OF THE GROUP'S CLIMATE
PROTECTION INITIATIVE
For the second time we will participate in the Group's
#Project1Hour initiative on 22/4/2022 – Earth Day.
The initiative focuses on the personal involvement of all 660,000
VW Group employees in the ght against climate change.
Despite the extraordinary situations (covid-19 pandemic, the war
in Ukraine or the limited supply of semiconductors) that have been
occurring recently, climate change remains a global challenge that is
still with us and will undoubtedly aect our future.
The Group therefore invites all employees to reect together on
their own contribution to reducing the environmental footprint and
share their experiences of how they are protecting the environment
with their colleagues in a one-hour workshop on 22/4. The ŠKODA
AUTO Board of Management, in cooperation with the KOVO
Trade Union, has decided to support this activity and implement it
in both indirect and direct areas.
“It’s literally about saving the world,”
says Thomas Schäfer, CEO of ŠKODA
AUTO. He believes that it is still not too
late to implement measures and together
try to at least slow down the climate-

the ŠKODA Museum
We invite you to the seventh meeting of 45-minute talks dedicated to the NEXT LEVEL – ŠKODA Strategy 2030. You will have
the chance to ask anything that interests you about the topic “Mindset Change“. During this session on Friday, 22/4/2022, Board Member
for Production & Logistics Dr. Michael Oeljeklaus and Head of ŠKODA Academy Alois Kauer will discuss with you the development of
company culture or the importance of mindset change for the successful company transformation. Questions can be asked in Czech

ŠKODA Museum oers its traditional exhibition of artistically
crafted lm aps in cooperation with the Zlín Film Festival.
The Flap Tour (Klapka Tour) exhibition will be part of
the exhibition in the museum's Tradition section from 21–28/4/2022.
On Thursday, the exhibition programme at the ŠKODA Museum will
also be accompanied by a festival day for children, which will include
the painting of lm aps, an animation programme with magician
Jirka Hadaš and a presentation of the Zlín festival and the cooperation
with ŠKODA AUTO. Each of the child participants will be able to
take their own ap with them as a souvenir.

The new ENYAQ COUPÉ RS iV with
Thomas Schäfer & Amy Shore
ŠKODA AUTO CEO Thomas Schäfer invited Amy Shore,
an experienced car photographer, to Prague where they not only
took stunning photos of the brand new ENYAQ COUPÉ RS iV in
the exclusive Mamba green variant but also discussed the electric
ŠKODA model, which was unveiled at its world premiere on
31/1 this year.
In April, a number of new features were
introduced in the Cafeteria Benets
ŠKODA, jointly prepared by ŠKODA AUTO
and the KOVO Trade Union. You can now
also use your points to purchase travel,
adventure and relaxation activities,
including those purchased through
the KOVO Trade Union. This will expand
the existing range of benets in the areas of
health, sport, culture, books, supplementary
pension savings and healthy food at
Aramark. Another new feature are paper
vouchers, which you can purchase with
your points at the KOVO Trade Union by
paying with FlexiPass at the terminal. All

starting in front of the ŠKODA Museum in Mladá Boleslav as usual, and the
nish area is at the Metoděj Vlach Museum of Aviation. Approximately
130 km long, the route includes several regularity sections, as well as the
popular passage through the Mladá Boleslav production plant. Moreover,
the ŠCT will oer generous refreshments, professional photography service
(photos to cover the event) and attractive prizes for winners. The event is
open to anybody owning a vintage car or youngtimer of any brand, production
year until (and including) 1993. Younger vehicles may be granted permission
