ŠKO-ENERGO is continuing to expand its rooftop
solar power systems. The company has installed
a total of , new photovoltaic panels on the
roofs of three of its facilities in Mladá Boleslav. In
future, the systems are expected to generate up to
MWh of electricity per year.
Biomass will play a key role in ŠKO-ENERGO’s
transition to a carbon-neutral energy mix. To support
this, the company launched a modernisation project
at its Mladá Boleslav heating plant in .
The work is scheduled for completion at the end of
. Another major step will be replacing natural
gas with biomethane, a move planned for .

Last week, Škoda Auto presented its results for
, with vehicle sales approaching the one-
million mark. Martin Jahn, Škoda Auto Board
Member for Sales and Marketing, emphasised
that the company’s success is built on a broad
portfolio, improved quality and attractive design.
This year will be pivotal for carmakers, particularly
as Brussels considers new, stricter emissions rules.
Jahn also spoke about ongoing market uncertainty,
which makes planning and the transition to clean
mobility more challenging. Even so, he remains
optimistic about Škoda’s future and its continued
growth in global markets.
