In May last year, Škoda Auto launched the ‘ZEBRA
Grant for Teams’ initiative to support improvement
proposals that demonstrate quantiable savings. Winning
teams from two competition periods had the chance to
receive a nancial grant of , CZK to implement
their ZEBRA proposals. The PKT (Technical Service)
department won the rst round. The selection for the best
team in the second evaluation period was based on three
criteria: the highest savings from ZEBRA proposals,
the greatest benet per employee, and the highest
innovation potential. During this period ( Sept –  Dec
),  departments saved Škoda Auto nearly seven
million CZK. The PLC (Parts Dispatch Centre) department
claimed the prize in the second round’s evaluation.

World Water Day: Harnessing
Water for Peace
The updated Next Level Škoda Strategy
 serves as our navigation system setting
out a clear vision of what we want to be: the

Introduces Next Level
Škoda Strategy 2030
Škoda Auto once again joined the global community
in observing World Water Day (held annually on
 March), highlighting water’s indispensable
role for our planet. In the face of climate change,
water can either become a source of conict when
access is denied and its use unfairly distributed,
or it can act as an instrument of peace through
collaborative management and sharing of this
precious resource among communities and nations.
Water management is a key pillar of Škoda Auto’s
GreenFuture environmental strategy.
Our company is committed to minimising its water
footprint and preventing pollution of water bodies,
employing modern technologies and practices such
as water recycling and reuse, as well as wastewater
treatment in collaboration with ŠKO-ENERGO.
For example,
water
consumption
per vehicle
produced has
decreased
by %
compared to
, reaching
, litres
in .
