    ŠKODA AUTO IS
    INTRODUCING
    THE FOLLOWING
    MEASURES:
    On-site testing
    Eective as of Sunday
    20/2/2022, optional testing
    will be available to ŠKODA
    AUTO employees and agency
    sta on COVID testing sites.
    The transition to the optional
    testing scheme includes
    abandoning the process
    of registering test
    results via the Electronic
    Attendance Sheet
    application. Employees
    of third-party companies,
    integrated companies and
    visitors do not have to
    show a COVID-free
    certicate.
    Isolation period
    extended;
    quarantine
    obligation
    abandoned
    Eective as of 19/2/2022,
    the coronavirus isolation
    period is extended from ve
    to seven days. The obligation
    to quarantine after coming
    into contact with a COVID-
    infected person do not
    longer apply.
    Sta meetings
    Eective as of 21/2/2022,
    the restriction on meetings
    to a maximum of 5 people
    is lifted. The requirements to
    wear respiratory protection
    equipment and keeping
    distance between persons are
    still required during meetings.
    PCR testing cell
    at Gate 3 in MB
    Eective as of Monday,
    21/2/2022, the testing cell
    at Gate 3 in MB is again
    available to the public over
    the standard working hours.
    Transport service
    Transport services provided
    to COVID-infected persons
    (that have tested positive)
    will remain unchanged until
    5/3/2022.
    Company canteens
    Catering services provided by
    the Akuma and Na Karmeli
    restaurants are available also
    to third-party customers
    without the need to prove
    a valid vaccination certicate.
    Further changes to the measures relate to respiratory protection, business trips or booster dose vaccination.

    In an informal atmosphere, they openly discussed
    topics and obstacles that employees encounter
    in the course of their work and explored solutions
    that, in their opinion, could lead to an improvement
    of the working environment and workplace relations.
    For example, the creation of a communication
    platform for foreign colleagues in the company was
    mentioned, as well as possible ways of motivating
    colleagues and enabling those whose ambition is not
    to become managers to increase their qualications.

    Please be informed that from
    1/3/2022, the ordering of company
    vehicles will be allowed again. Two
    basic models are available for 2022.
    The SUPERB model mainly for
    Group 2a and the SCALA model
    for Group 2c. Possible promotions
    for stock vehicles will be published
    on the VAC – Company Vehicles
    website. Ordering of Group 4
    company vehicles will be allowed
    from November 2022, subject to
    the current situation. Once a new
    vehicle is taken into use, the familiar
    rules of a maximum mileage of
    20,000 km or 9 months old for
    the replacement of a service vehicle
    will apply.

    There must be sucient space between components
    such as the engine, shock absorbers, bonnet hinge,
    bonnet lock and the windscreen wiper axles to
    cushion a possible impact through deformation of the
    bonnet. The front edge of the bonnet is also shaped
    to optimize safety. Current ŠKODA models’ high
    standard of pedestrian protection is underlined by
    the results in the European New Car Assessment
    Programme (Euro NCAP), the reference test for
    crash safety. Both the new FABIA and the electric
    ENYAQ iV were named best-in-class vehicles for
    the 2021 test year.

    On 16/2/2022, Herbert Diess,
    Volkswagen Group CEO, answered
    a series of questions on Reddit
    as part of the "Ask Me Anything"
    challenge. Registered users were
    able to ask Herbert Diess all kinds of
    questions, but most of the questions
    came from the eld of electromobility
    and there was also interest in
    outlining the Group's future plans.
    In total, there were 900 questions!
    While the current ŠKODA FABIA Rally2 evo started into
    the 2022 season with WRC2 victory at Rallye Monte-
    Carlo, the development of the successor model is already
    in full swing. ŠKODA Motorsport recently tested the new
    generation ŠKODA FABIA Rally2 under extreme winter
    conditions in northern Finland. With temperatures falling as
    low as minus 14 Centigrade and roads deeply covered with
    snow, WRC2 Champion Andreas Mikkelsen (NOR), WRC
    star Kris Meeke (GBR) and Finnish Rally Champion Emil
    Lindholm (FIN) took to the wheel of the development car.
