The automated inspection system ANNIE
uses articial intelligence to perform
quality control on production lines. It can
automatically detect defects, such as missing
or incorrectly assembled or placed parts.
For example, on the ML and ML door lines,
the camera performs  types of checks
with a success rate of .%. The ANNIE
system therefore prevents errors during
time-consuming checks by the human eye
and saves up to several hundred thousands
euros per year.

Secure IT:
How to handle passwords
Strong passwords protect not only
personal accounts but also company
systems and sensitive data at Škoda
Auto. Weak, easily guessable, or
repeatedly used passwords are one of
the most common causes of security
incidents.
Every account must have its own unique
password consisting of  characters.
We recommend using a passphrase –
a combination of several words joined
together into one long password without
spaces (BookAndCatsInBerlinOnFriday).
Do not use personal information,
keyboard patterns (qwerty), or variations
of old passwords.
Change your password whenever you
suspect it has been compromised
(for employee passwords or computer
passwords, contact the Service Desk
immediately) or after any security
incident.
Prefer using an approved password
manager such as KeePass, which you
can also nd in the SW Center. This way,
you only need to remember the master
password to unlock and use the stored
passwords.
