Škoda Auto strives to practice open communication. One important
venue for this is the “Early Bird Breakfast”, a periodic meeting of
Škoda’s top management. The rst EBB of this year was held on
Tuesday, 11 February, with nearly  participants discussing current
topics at the Café Restaurant Václav in the Škoda Museum.
Klaus Zellmer, Škoda CEO, spoke to the group about recent
developments including ongoing eorts to develop synergies with
the Brand Group Core. He also talked about the importance of string
brand identity as well as Škoda’s planned product portfolio and future
production allocation.
Early Bird Breakfast
 has been a challenging year for electric vehicle sales in
Europe, with overall registrations declining by .% compared
to the previous year. Despite this downturn, the Škoda Enyaq
has performed well. In , the Enyaq secured fourth place
in the ranking of the most sought-after electric cars on the
European market, achieving a % increase in registrations
compared to . Only two Tesla models and the Volvo EX
ranked ahead of Škoda’s electric SUV.

The future of the Škoda brand is increasingly electric, with clear plans
for e-mobility. The company is committed to driving the transformation
of the automotive industry in the Czech Republic and beyond. It
recognises its responsibility in strengthening the country’s role as a
key player in the European automotive sector. Škoda’s management
is leading by example in meeting CO targets for . As part of the
Management Goes Electric initiative, from  February , all
vehicles in groups 1, 2a, 2e, 2t, and 4a can only be ordered as fully
electric or plug-in hybrid models – without exception.

This February marks  years since the world premiere of the third-
generation Škoda Superb, an event attended by around  guests from
 countries. Accompanied by the specially composed Superb Symphony,
Škoda’s newly developed agship model was unveiled at Prague’s Forum
Karlín. At the time, it captivated audiences with its revolutionary design,
exceptional spaciousness, comfort, and cutting-edge technology.
