The new World Rally Championship season will be extremely
challenging. The Škoda Fabia RS Rally and Toksport WRT
are defending their titles from last year, which is a big challenge
in itself. The new players in WRC also mean a tougher
competition.
Then after seven years, the extremely fast Polish Rally returns,
where deep ruts are easy to form in the soft sandy surface.
The other new addition is the Lithuanian Rally, one of the
most challenging events in Europe. Many crews will be new to
Lithuania, so this could also shake up the standings.
The ongoing season has already kicked o in Monte Carlo
(- January), where the Spanish duo Pepe López/David
Vázquez took second place in the WRC on their debut
with the Škoda Fabia RS Rally. Next event is the Swedish
Rally on  February.
