    MINISTRY OF
    HEALTH HAS
    ISSUED A NEW
    SPECIAL DECREE
    IN RESPONSE
    TO THE LATEST
    DEVELOPMENTS
    AROUND THE
    COVID-
    PANDEMIC, AND
    WE WOULD LIKE
    TO INFORM YOU
    OF CHANGES THAT
    ŠKODA AUTO IS
    GOING TO MAKE
    AS AGREED WITH
    THE KOVO TRADE
    UNION.
    On-site testing
    ŠKODA AUTO will test
    employees twice a week
    as required under the
    government-imposed
    Special Decree, except for
    employees who provide
    a laboratory-issued, PCR
    test-conrmed COVID-19
    recovery certicate. Such
    employees will not be
    tested for 30 days from
    the date of their positive
    PCR test, subject to
    proving the above to
    the testing inspector by
    showing their TEČKA app
    or a recovery certicate.
    Third-party access
    Employees of third-party
    & integrated companies
    and visitors do not take
    self-tests provided by
    ŠKODA AUTO, and
    ŠKODA AUTO does not
    test them for COVID-19
    upon their arrival at the
    ŠKODA AUTO site.

    the possibilities of proving
    infection-free status can

    Quarantine
    Eective as of 31 January
    2022, the quarantine
    exemption applies to
    persons who have had
    COVID-19 and no
    more than 30 days have
    elapsed since their rst
    positive PCR test.
    Covid-19
    vaccination
    certicate validity
    period made shorter
    Eective as of 15 February
    2022, the validity of
    vaccination completion
    certicates will be
    reduced to 270 days.
    The above applies to
    persons who completed
    their vaccinations more
    than 9 months ago.
    The booster dose
    extends the validity of
    the certicate for an
    indenite period of time.

    Following the successful launch of the ENYAQ iV, we are expanding
    our range with a second body variant with a more emotional look.
    The four-door ŠKODA ENYAQ COUPÉ iV is characterized by its
    elegant, owing rear end. The air resistance coecient cx value of
    0.234 is lower than the ENYAQ iV's already very good value. That
    makes the ENYAQ COUPÉ iV even more economical and, combined
    with a more powerful battery, achieves a range of more than 545 km
    in WLTP mode. It oers two dierent battery capacities, three power
    levels and rear or all-wheel drive. Interior designs familiar from the
    ENYAQ iV replace the classic trim levels. Like other ŠKODA models,
    the ENYAQ COUPÉ iV has generous interior space. The boot volume
    is 570 litres.
    In spring 2020, our employees joined forc-
    es with dozens of 3D printers to print 1,400
    shields for organizations in need in the Mladá
    Boleslav and Rychnov nad Kněžnou region.
    Symbolically, they have demonstrated one of
    the great advantages of 3D printing technology
    – the enormous exibility, where you are able to
    design, test and then produce almost anything
    in a matter of hours. 3D printing is gradually be-
    coming part of ŠKODA's regular production – in
    2021, the carmaker was also recognised for this
    by the Federation of Industry and Trade. This
    time, Jan Flégl, Head of Welding Shops Mainte-
    nance, and Jana Polášek Filová, who leads and
    co-develops strategic projects at ŠKODA AU-
    TO focused on the digital transformation of pro-
    duction and, more specically, plastic 3D print-
    ing, talk about the meaning and benets of 3D
    printing in individual departments in the SIMPLY
    CLEVER PODCAST.

    TRIUMPHED IN MONTE CARLO
    In the early months of 1975, one of ŠKODA’s many racing legends
    was born in the Mladá Boleslav factory: the ŠKODA 130 RS
    coupé. By the end of the year it had received homologation from
    FIA, the international race authority, which was a prerequisite for
    participation in prestigious sporting events. And in its rst racing
    season, the new ŠKODA model took the top three places in
    the overall standings of the Peace and Friendship Cup circuit
    races, a demanding series staged in the then socialist countries.

    Even in the dicult year of 2021, the ŠKODA
    Plus certied used car programme has shown that
    Czech motorists still prefer the proven quality of
    branded dealers when buying a used car. Despite
    the closures at the start of the year, ŠKODA PLUS
    authorized dealers recorded almost 56,000 car
    sales last year, a 4% increase compared to
    2020. The most popular model in the ŠKODA
    Plus programme last year was the ŠKODA
    OCTAVIA, followed by other ŠKODA models in
    the order of FABIA, SUPERB, SCALA and RAPID.

    Despite the COVID-19 pandemic and
    the semiconductor shortage posing major
    challenges for ŠKODA AUTO in 2021,
    the Czech carmaker produced more than
    800,000 vehicles at its global production sites.
    Around 440,000 vehicles rolled o the production line
    at the company’s main plant in Mladá Boleslav. In addition
    to the OCTAVIA (172,000 units), the SUV models
    KAMIQ (111,000) and KAROQ (109,000) were the
    most frequently produced model series. In addition, we
    manufactured components such as engines, axles, bodies,
    transmissions and high-voltage traction batteries that are
    also installed in the vehicles of other Group brands.
    As of 1 February 2022, the process of reporting breaches of labor
    discipline is carried out only electronically in the HR system
    KOMPAS. The process includes an approval workow, notication of app-
    roval status and recording of breaches of work discipline by employees.
