Škoda Auto has launched series production of its all-electric Elroq
at the company’s main plant in Mladá Boleslav. This compact SUV
rolls o a exible assembly line alongside the new Škoda Enyaq and
the Octavia. To accommodate a daily output of up to  Elroq
units, part of the Octavia’s production was relocated to the Kvasiny
plant last year. Positioned as one of the most aordable oerings in its
segment across Europe, the Elroq reaches price parity with its internal
combustion engine (ICE) counterpart in several markets.
The production launch of our new Elroq compact SUV at our main
plant is a great accomplishment for the entire team. I would like
to thank all my colleagues for their dedication in preparing for this
milestone. Sharing the assembly line with its electric sibling, the new
Škoda Enyaq, alongside the local production of MEB platform battery
systems, creates signicant synergies in production and cost eciency,
which ultimately benets our customers. By producing this key model
at our headquarters, we are rearming the crucial strategic role of the
Mladá Boleslav plant as the heart of our brand.”

Škoda Kylaq Earns
5 Stars in Bharat NCAP
Crash Test
The Škoda Kylaq, the third Škoda model
developed in India, has achieved an outstanding
ve-star safety rating in the Bharat NCAP
(New Car Assessment Programme) crash tests.
As Škoda’s rst sub--metre SUV, the Kylaq
builds on the strong legacy of top-level safety
established in India by the Škoda Kushaq and
Škoda Slavia. Both of these models received ve-
star ratings in their respective Global NCAP crash
tests for adult and child occupant safety.
Petr Janeba, Head of Škoda India, commented:
“Safety is an integral part of Škoda’s DNA. Since
, every Škoda vehicle worldwide, including in
India, has been subject to crash tests and received
ve-star safety ratings. Škoda Auto leads the
way in promoting car safety in India with a eet
of vehicles that have achieved top safety ratings.
We were the rst brand to receive the full ve-
star Global NCAP rating for both Adult and Child
Occupants.”
