On Thursday, 11 September, this unusual space with a stage in the middle and a spiral auditorium around it was dedicated to a Škoda Auto exhibition on artificial intelligence. Led by Aleš Beneda, Head of FIT – IT Enterprise Architecture & Technology, and a team of other experts from FI – Information Technology, FIT, FIO – IT Services, Digitisation Centres centers that operate across the entire company, and the subsidiary Green:Code, participants immersed themselves in the world of modern technologies. At the Nová Spirála theatre, they were able to visit six themed stands at the AI Experts Discovery Lounge marketplace. The main stage was reserved for the presentation of the AI Think Big strategy, which helps drive innovation and transform Škoda Auto’s processes.
AI allows us to pursue our ambitious plans without proportionally increasing costs. This is our path forward, and we have a clear strategy to deploy AI across all our business processes.

In the marketplace area, visitors met with representatives from Digitisation Centres (DDCs) and AI Business Partners who shared their experiences with implementing AI projects in their departments.
At the Prompting Station booth, they learned how to properly create functional and effective prompts in the internal ŠkodaGPT application and other tools.
The Microsoft Copilots & Agents station presented real-life examples and scenarios that save time, improve decision-making or help with information processing. The demonstrations focused on using the Microsoft Copilot tool in the role of a researcher or analyst. Visitors also learned how to create their own agent.
The Synthesia tool uses AI to create content. At the booth of the same name, visitors could learn how to make presentations more engaging using a virtual character, an avatar.
The theme of the AI & Ethics booth was to teach visitors how to recognise fake videos, which can be identified by unrealistic movements and facial expressions, distorted sound or suspicious content.
Guests usually ended their visit at the AI Snacks booth, where they could relax in a comfortable chair and enjoy a series of short educational videos prepared by the Škoda Academy in collaboration with FI and SB – Operational HR & Digitisation. The videos have been released every Monday since June this year and show how AI helps save time and simplify tasks without complicated theory.
