It looks beyondthe current extractive industrial mod-el of take-make-waste and aims to re-define growth from the use of resources.“We are looking for new ways of devel-oping, producing and using carbon-neu-tral and circular products and services.I consider it a key contribution by ŠKODAto oer sustainable mobility solutions toour customers. That's why we are ex-ploring ways to integrate this conceptinto our ŠKODA Green Future strat-egy”, says Friederike Kloeckner, assis-tant to the Board Member for TechnicalDevelopment.“Basically, we are at the beginning.We’ve put together a cross-function-al team that is looking beyond the sta-tus quo of developing and producingcars. Wastecardboard is used to package parts atour CKD Centre.2. Design out waste and pollutionDesign and development ensuresthat waste and pollution are notcreated in the first place. We designproducts and components so thatthey can be re-used, repaired and re-manufactured.3.
